Bicycle riders are on a
tour of eastern Oklahoma in the 32nd annual Free Wheel. Riders
arrived in Heavener Monday afternoon after riding in from Clayton and toured the
area and camped out at Heavener High School as tents were scattered all over the
football field and the high school.
Riders drove around town on their bikes and visited local stores and restaurants
as their trek came through Heavener for the second time.
The tour continues Tuesday as riders embark on a journey to Muldrow. They
started Sunday by traveling from Hugo to Clayton. The tour finishes on Saturday
in Joplin.
