KTC’s
NTHS attend state conference
Recently,
the Kiamichi Technology Center’s National Technical Honor Society attended the
NTHS State Conference in Moore.
The conference centered around the development of leadership skills within the
students and followed the theme “NTHS Rocks”! The students heard from several
motivating speakers and participated in leadership building group activities.
NTHS members that attended the event were: Jeff Blakey, Scott Schmidt, Andy
Linton, Brittanii Herrington and Erica Pierce. Advisors of the NTHS are Laura
Harrison, Marjorie Wann & Barney Green.

National Technical Honor Society is the acknowledged leader in the recognition
of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education. Thousands
of schools and colleges throughout the U.S. and its territories have a chapter
of the honor society on their campus.
These member schools agree that NTHS encourages higher scholastic achievement,
cultivates a desire for personal excellence, and helps top students find success
