Letters to editor
Madison Shepherd 10-11-09
I
was wondering if you would like to put something in your journal section about
the community from a kid’s point of view.
We have a wonderful
community filled with laughter and kindness. And that is why we should take care
of it.
We need to treat our
community with respect and pride.
All we have to do is
something simple. Like, simply getting outside with a garbage bag and pick up
trash in the ditch, or, write a letter to the mayor about taking
better care of the cemetery. We could also make our community a better place by
being a good Samaritan.
There are all kinds of ways to be a good
Samaritan. Like, helping a lady with her
groceries across the street, or, give a smile to a person that is sad.
Make your community a
better place.
Thank You Sincerely,
10-year-old Madison
