Naylor honored by OU

NORMAN—On March 26, Jordan Naylor of Heavener was recognized as the University of Oklahoma President’s Outstanding Freshman.

The award is presented to selected individuals who have excelled in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership and service to the university community during their freshman year at OU.

This award is the highest award bestowed to freshmen by the university community. She was among five female and seven male recipients.

Naylor is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, President’s Leadership Class, Sooner Scouts, OU Honor’s College, Campus Activities Counsel and served in leadership positions for several organizations.

She is currently seeking a major in the field of business and considering law school. She had a 4.0 GPA and 30 hours during her freshman year.

She is the daughter of Brad and Shawn Naylor and the granddaughter of Carlous and Jane Naylor.
