Garland Hicks

GRANTS PASS, Ore.—Garland Gene “Butch” Hicks , 59, of Grants Pass, Ore., formerly from the Wister area, passed away July 21, 2010, in Grants Pass. He was born May 29, 1951 in Hinton, Ok.

Services are Saturday at 10 a.m. at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Rev. Larry Free officiating. Interment is at Maxey Cemetery in Wister. Arrangements are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Survivors are sons William, Eugene and Larry Hicks; grandchildren, Marie Russell, Craig Russell, James Hicks, Dwayne Hicks, Lucas Hicks and Logan Hicks; brothers, Elton, Paul, Robert, Phillip, Pete and Thomas; sisters, Melba, Aileen and Patsy; and dear friend, Clint Williams.
