academic team qualified for the state tournament at the regional
tournament on Saturday at Spiro. Pictured along with coach Patricia

Names of the students
are: Celosia Johnson, Chase Smith, Blake
Lillard, and Connor Bandy.
The team lost to Stillwell “A”, won against Stillwell “B”, beat Spiro, won
against Stillwell “A” and lost to Checotah after a tie to place third.
The top three teams Poteau, Checotah, and Sallisaw, will compete in the state
tournament in April. The team’s coach is Patricia Morris.
