Heavener downs Westville

HEAVENER--Mario Hernandez kicked three field goals, including the winner from 28-yards out in overtime to give Heavener a 9-6 win over Westville Friday night.

After the Yellow Jackets failed on a field goal in the first session of overtime, Hernandez saved the day for Heavener, giving the Wolves their first win of the season.

His two earlier kicks gave Heavener a 6-0 lead before Westville came back to tie the game and force overtime.

Heavener, now 1-2, starts district play Friday at Stigler.
