Poteau splits with Muldrow

POTEAU—Poteau’s boys evened their conference record at 2-2 with a win over Muldrow Friday night while the Lady Pirates fell to the powerful Lady Bulldogs.

Britt Brown scored 25 points to lead the Pirates to a 70-61 win while the Lady Pirates fell to undefeated Muldrow, 61-29.

The Lady Pirates fell behind 11-0 to start the game, cut the lead to five points later in the quarter, but it was all Muldrow after that. Courtney Allison and Meagan Ryburn each scored seven points to lead Poteau.
