LeFlore, Wister split

LeFLORE—LeFlore’s girls bounced back from an opening loss to down Wister, 67-46, Tuesday night.

Wister’s boys, expected to be one of the better teams in the county, downed the Savages in the final game, 60-25.

Sara Lloyd and Melinda Smith each had 20 points to lead the Lady Savages. Misty Johnson had five points and 10 assists.

LeFlore’s girls are now 1-1 while the Lady Wildcats drop to 0-1.

Wister’s boys are 1-0 while the Savages drop to 0-2.  LeFlore plays at McCurtain on Nov. 10. Wister hosts Red Oak Friday.
